Goodwill Little Black Dress Models wanted!

It's that time of year again when we search out those Michiana ladies who are the biggest Goodwill fans!  The Little Black Dress fashion show and luncheon is the area's premier fashion show event.  The show features real-live people; ladies just like you and me of all shapes, sizes and colors - sporting amazing outfits on the runway!

Each model will be styled by me in at least 3 looks for the show.  For more details, click the graphic below!

I'm teaming up with The Family Magazine of Michiana to offer a 1-day image consultation, wardrobe coaching, personal shopping experience! 

The winner shall receive:

·        2 hour consultation

·        2-3 hour personal shopping within the Michiana area

·        Winner is responsible for the purchase of any clothing

The winner agrees to:

·        Have the experience documents with photographs for a story in the Family Magazine of Michiana

·        Sign a release form to allow the printing and distribution of the story

·        Be available during the week, and have the appointment completed prior to April 10^th

The book will be your ultimate guide to a complete wardrobe and style overhaul.  It will include "how-to's" on a wardrobe audit, finding your style, what clothes look best on you, how to accessorize, a shoe guide, getting the best out of Thrift Store finds,  and being stylish on a McDonald's budget when you have Barney's taste.

Here is where the contest comes in...I am stuck on a name for the book, and need your help!

Goodwill presents Boutique Days Fashion Parade

Date & Time - Saturday, August 22 from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Location - Granger Goodwill / 13000 State Road 23 / South Bend, IN 46530 / (574) 968-5018

We’ll have school age models ranging in age from Kindergarten through High School. Each model will be given $15.00 in play money. He / she can then pick out a school outfit that works within that budget.

Participants will arrive at 9:00 am and then have an hour or so to select their outfits - then, we’ll have a fashion show in the store and Kathy will describe each outfit and the cost.

I am looking for kids to participate! Are your kids up for this kind of fun (they get to keep the outfit, and what a great math lesson!). Leave a comment here and let me know you're IN!

Camellia Cosmetics and Nicholas J Salon have partnered to AMBUSH MAKEOVER YOU! (and I might help too!)

Are you one of those people who know you could make a better first impression, but you just don’t know where to start? Well, have we got the FREE hook up for you. Together, we are offering a “what we would do,” free Ambush Makeover advice to anyone who can take a picture and press send.

You can join the fun we are having with our Ambush Makeovers on U93. Who hasn’t wondered what changes a pro would make if given carte blanch, all without risk, without cost, and from the comfort of your own home. Here is all you have to do:

2) Every week, the artists at Camellia along with the stylists at Nicolas J will objectively tell the participants exactly what we would do to create your best look. Our ideas will come to you via email, and you can take it from there.

3) Every picture will receive a response. If you feel a short background will help us to understand your beauty needs, by all means fill us in, but we will be unable to reply to very long letters, this is about that first, immediate impression after all.

4) If you decide to go for it and want our help, just book an appointment, bring in your printed response, where we will turn our suggested look… into your actual look, and we will throw in a nice freebie just for being so brave!
