Spring 08 Trends

TREND: Florals
If you've passed on head-to-toe blooms because you think only super-girly types can carry them off, try florals this season as an accent.

Believe it or not, wearing a big floral pin is in-style. Even floral print shoes are all the rage on runways. Wearing a pop of floral is going to be a cinch this season.

Here are some ideas:
One easy way is to pin on a large flower as an accent piece on a simple dress or separates. You can even wear it in your hair.
Everything from shoes to handbags are covered with flowers, so add a bud that way. Target has some great inexpensive options.
If a floral print intrigues you, but you can't decide if you can pull it off, remember to keep prints in proportion to your shape. Larger frames look best in wider spaced, bigger blooms; petite frames can carry off allover, ditsy (tiny) prints.

Trend Watch: Color Block shoes

Every season, I don't know if I am more excited about the new line I get to sell, or about the fun shoes I am going to hunt for to perfectly show off the clothing. This season , shoes are more fun than any other one in recent memory.

In addition to yellow - I am seeing all kind of fun color in shoes.

Everywhere from Zappos to Nordstrom is highlighting color blocked shoes.

When you put together your Spring looks, be daring with your shoes. Try an unusual pop of color - maybe even something that you don't think will 'match'. It might be the key ingredient to make your outfit look super stylish!
