seasonal colors

What colors should you wear season wise?
Tamara

Tamara,
Of course, this depends on your coloring...however, most of the rules for color and season have flown out the window. In the past you would never wear pastel in the winter...now, some of the most beautiful sweaters and parkas are in baby pink and light blue.

Some colors I would steer clear on in the heat of the winter would be autumnal tones (nutmeg, eggplant, pumpkin).

Likewise, pastel in fall might be a different choice.

I am a little old school when it comes to white shoes between Labor Day and Memorial Day - don't do it. However, there are some really cute white winter boots that would be appropriate.

The key to color is in the fabric. Concern yourself MORE with seasonal appropriate fabric rather than color.
