Fun Shopping Web Sites

If you are like me, I am always looking on line for the newest latest greatest thing...especially this time of year. I do try to find unique ideas for gift giving - something original - something that you can't just run out to the mall and pick up...something that I put some thought into.

Ya - a little over dramatic, huh?

OK - how about this, I look for the newest, latest and greatest thing as gift giving ideas for my family to get for me!

...and the truth is somewhere in the middle.

Here are some fun sites I wanted to pass along:
Glam Watch
this is my favorite

http://glamrockwatches.com/ - Nieman Marcus carries this brand.

Uncommon Goods has just that...unusual stuff. I won't tell you what I got from here...but I did check off a few names from my list!

If you have unusually small feet, big feet, or just unusual taste? Design your own shoes - seriously - that is the coolest thing I have ever heard of!
www.stevemadden.com

If you are shopping for an athletic woman - there is a great website with all kinds of great athletic wear. Everything from tennis to yoga, hiking, swimming, shopping - all of the major spots are covered!

Garnet Hill is one of my favorite places. I wish there was a store locally. I've purchased several things there over the years, and have been very happy with everything I've received. The thing I love the most about this store, are the variety of clothing AND great house wears and gifts. www.garnethill.com

Hearth Song is a good place for unusual toys and gifts for kids. http://hearthsong.com

KooKoo Bear Kids is another place I've purchased several things at. I have a few things that I've purchased from them for Anya's room. VERY cute kids room kinds of things! www.kookoobearkids.com

Soft Surroundings has a variety of gifts from bedding to PJs to cute and cozy outfits. www.softsurroundings.com

Room Service Home is another great gift shop. http://www.roomservicehome.com/

And the grand finale has to be Chasing Fireflies. I get a lot of exquisite children's clothing catalogs - but this one caught my eye. So many cute things. Toys and outfits...gifts and even a fairy tower train set! And yes, if Anya was home, she would have the Prima Pettiskirt in Raspberry - wouldn't that be an adorable Christmas picture outfit? Against a background of white (hint hint Cathy Dietz!) http://www.chasing-fireflies.com/
